Unless arrangements are made in advance we appreciate if you stick to these times and inform us about the time of your estimated arrival. We like to greet all our guests in person. This way we can explain how to operate Chromecast and answer any questions you may have. We will give you instructions on how to get in if you have a very late arrival or if for any reason we are unable to greet you in person. * Door - door handle needs to be pulled up all the way before the door can be locked.

* We have Chromecast on the televisions. You need to be on wifi in order to access Chromecast. Most apps like Netflix, Youtube, news channels, HBO MAX, Disney and Prime have a little television symbol where you can click and stream all your programs onto the apartment's television. Please ask if you need help. 

* You will find coffee and tea in the kitchen. Kitchens are well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Previous guests have bought spices and oil so there is usually enough to make food.

* We supply dish tabs, garbage bags, soap, shampoo, conditioner, linens, towels, cleaning supplies, beach towels upon request, electricity and water, wifi etc. The only thing we do not supply is laundry detergent. 

*If you are renting more than one apartment, please do not move dishes, glasses, pots and pans around between the apartments. Everything needs to stay in each individual apartment.  

* Trash sorting - We have trash cans in the parking lot for: Paper and cardboard,

plastic and cartons,

metal and glass,

food waste

and regular waste.

If you are in doubt which one is which please ask. If you do not want to return pant cans (there is a sign on the cans and bottles that says pant its most soda and beer), feel free to leave them in a bag in the apartment and we will dispose of them.

* Dishes. Please wash off dishes before putting them into the dishwasher. The machines are old and cannot handle a lot of food waste. Also scrub pans before putting them into the dishwasher or better yet, wash them by hand. All dish detergent is under the sink in the kitchen.

* All apartments and the cottage have 2 bedrooms and sleeping spaces for 4 adults comfortably, one bedroom has a big double and depending on the apartment, the other bedroom has a small double and a single or 2 singles. I can combine the 2 singles into one bed if you let me know ahead of time. We can bring in extra beds if necessary and the details are all on each apartments page. This is why it is important for guests to let me know how many will be sharing a bed and how many will be staying with us.

*There are many markets very close by. Lidl is just over the freeway to the right near McDonalds. Lidl is open to 21:30 in the evening and Netto, in the shopping center to the left, is open to 22:00. 

*If anything you should catch the sunrise in the morning. It comes up over the bridge and if it is a clear day it is spectacular. 

*Nyborg used to be the capital of Denmark in the Middle Ages so there is a really cool castle in town. It is in the process of being rebuilt the way it was in the Middle Ages and will be finished in 2028. You can read about it here 

*The tour de France finished its second leg in Nyborg in 2022. There is a beautiful Tour de France bike monument in town to commemorate this event. 

*Recommended restaurants in Nyborg

- Nyborg Thai food in Nyborg is yummy - just ask them to make it spicy if you want to have a little spice.

- Gertz Danish Bakery which is great for treats, sandwiches and smørrebrød.

Nyborg events -

First weekend in July every year there is a midievil festival every year. Nyborg used to be the capital of Denmark in the Middle Ages. They celebrate with horses, jousting, costumes and much more. It is something worth coming for.
