This beautiful and historic landmark from 1930 is located right on the beach. The views are truly breathtaking and the area is very peaceful with the sound of singing birds and huge hares hopping around. A little bit of history on this charming beach house, condominiums and ballroom: when it was founded, it used to be a party location with a restaurant and a grand ballroom where people would host all sorts of events and be shuttled in by train. You will find a few of the old photos on this site. It then was purchased and became a vacation place for children with diabetes. Throughout the years many famous Danes have stayed here renting the updated vacation condos because if its history and amazing location.

SKAERVEN IN NYBORG

Skaerven is located on one of the best beaches in all of Denmark. The sand is soft and white with no rocks and the water is shallow, calm and clean. Skaerven is in Nyborg on the island of Fyn, located in the heart of Denmark. The Danish word Nyborg means Newcastle in English. Back in 1525, Nyborg was selected as the first capitol of Denmark due to the king spending so much of his time here in the castle. The city dates back to the medieval times. Every Summer in July, Nyborg is transformed into a medieval city with lots of activities surrounding the castle. There are knight tournaments which attract contestants from all over Europe. The island of Fyn is connected to the mainland by bridges. Nyborg is conveniently located about an hour and 20 minute drive from Copenhagen, as well as an only a 2 hour drive from the Swedish as well as the Northern German border in the other direction. It's also only a 15 minute train ride or 20 minute drive to Odense, the biggest city on this island. Odense is the birthplace of beloved world famous fairytale writer, Hans Christian Andersen. LegoLand is also only an hour and a half drive. Flixbus, Fynbus and the train can connect you to all of Europe through public transportation. To read more about Nyborg check here -

We offer 3 condominums and a cottage right on the beach. All apartments are very well preserved in the old style with modern living quarters. From the top menu on this site you can explore all our rentals.

Transport

There is an abundance of public transporation connecting Nyborg to all of Europe. Trains travel to and from Copenhagen twice an hour throughout the day. Skaerven is conveniently located less than a kilometer off the freeway, so it is easily accessible by car. Nyborg is also a great starting point for cyclists wanting to explore the island. Ask up about transport to and from the station if you don't have a car. We can also help you rent bikes while you are staying with us.

Water Park , sportsfacility and golf

Just down the street, you will find the Nyborg indoor waterpark and sports facility. There is a gym and tennis courts in the same complex. Also within walking distance you will find a beautiful and picturesque golf course. Rod fishing for sea trout, flounder and cod can be found in Nyborg. We have facilites for fishermen.

Great Food

In nyborg you will find many restaurants and cozy cafes. Alternatively you can make your own food in your fully equipped kitchen or have a picnic on the beach.

Super Urlaub - direkt am Meer

Wir sind mit vier Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern angereist. Die Unterkunft besticht durch ihre Lage direkt am Dünensaum mit Blick aufs Meer. Die nahe gelegene Autobahn stört erstaunlicherweise überhaupt nicht. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist weit über dem Üblichen. Geschirrspüler mit Tabs, Mikrowelle, Mixer, Backform, Waschmaschine, Fön, Seife, Schampoo, Bettwäsche und ausreichend Handtücher..... Gern kommen wir im nächsten Jahr wieder. Danke für die ganz individuelle und persönliche Vermietung.

Fantastisk sted. Vil virkelig anbefale stedet og Lara og Lars som verter. Perfekt beliggenhet ved stranden og leiligheten hadde alt man behøvde, Kommer nok tilbake.
